Thank You Notes – Round 1

So, wedding thank you notes ROUND ONE are going out today. I had wanted to send them out much sooner, but my sweetie insisted on signing them himself.

So you’ll all have your own personalized, autographed thank you note!

So the procrastinator I am waited till he was home from his shoot in Massachusetts to officially start them. What that means is I wrote till my hand cramped and I couldn’t read anymore. All while watching some more movies for our wedding movie marathon…

We’ve completed about a thousand.

We’ve got a million to go.

Gift Mystery Solved!

The case of Calphalon sauce pan is solved! And we didn’t even get to ride in the Mystery Machine to figure it out.

One of our tricky, tricky friends slid his card inside the pan, which we didn’t see until early this morning when I actually opened the package. (It’s been slightly delayed since we had to ship a lot of things from the wedding back up to New York!)

It was 6:00 AM and I was so excited to have solved the mystery that I ran upstairs and promptly jumped on the bed to share the news with my sweetie.

He was less than thrilled. But he should be used this by now…between Star and I, he can’t sleep late.

We feel so much better about solving this mystery, especially since my sweetie will be signing his autograph to all the thank-you notes this weekend so I can FINALLY put them in the mail!

And to think in Kindergarten, I was always playing Scooby-Doo with my friends. At 5 I was always taking on the role of Daphne (I liked her dress!), but at 30 I think Velma (now I wear glasses!) is much cooler.

While we’re on the subject of odd things and overall weirdness, I also came across this beauty a few weeks ago. I’m not sure that this is real and I wasn’t even sure how to go about incorporating it into the wedding blog, but I did come across it reading an article about odd and interesting Valentine’s Day gifts…so I guess this could be an interesting wedding gift – FOR SOME OTHER COUPLE!!! (Thank God our apartment is small.)

My sweetie and I are getting married this September and are planning on sharing everything for the rest of our lives. OK, well maybe not everything…I think the Twoladoo is just crossing the line.
